# The observatories on Haleakala

My family and I took a trip to Maui this past week. While we were there we made the trek up Haleakala park mountain to the peak to watch the sunset. It's a pretty wild drive that takes a little over an hour to do. But the views are amazing. The terrain looks a bit like being on Mars.
